Master John Darcy - European Director

Master John Darcy has been training for the past 38 years in Tae kwon-Do. In 1995 Master Darcy introduced Action International Martial Arts Association (A.I.M.A.A) to Ireland and since its introduction it has gone from from strength to strength.

Master Darcy is in constant contact with Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and this brings A.I.M.A.A Ireland closer to its World Head Quarters in Hawaii. Master Darcy frequently visits Grandmaster Cho and brings with him many students each time to give them first hand knowledge of what training under his Grandmaster is all about.

Having organised several trips by Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and Master Philip Ameris to our shores. These seminars and belt testing have noticeable improved the overall ability and confidence of the students within Europe.

It is a sign of this man's character that he not only a colleague of Grandmaster Hee Il Cho's but also his good friend. MASTER JOHN DARCY 7TH DEGREE TESTING VIDEO

 

On the 22nd of November on the island of Hawaii, Master John Darcy made history by becoming the first European A.I.M.A.A Master to test for 7th Degree. His testing was unbelievable in power, speed and agility. It was an honour for all those sitting watching intently as Master Darcy undertook this gruelling testing in front of Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and the A.I.M.A.A Masters who sat on the testing panel. The panel also included some of the most senior Instructors from the USA.
